Survey Crew Chief
Survey Crew Chief position available in the Brighton, Michigan area. Direct hire opportunity working at an established engineering firm.
Pay range is $20.00 to $30.00 an hour. Some travel and possible overnight travel when needed. Expected hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., M-F with some OT and weekend hours as necessary.
The survey crew chief will be responsible for the collection of field data, and/or the layout of boundary and construction deliverables.
Travel to various job sites, including some out of town.

-Minimum of 2 years of experience as a crew chief.
-Experience on building layout is desired.
-Thorough understanding of reading and interpreting plans.
-Civil, structural, architectural plans and fabrication drawings.
-Experience with GPS units and robotic total stations is required.
-Must be willing to work outdoors and travel is required.
-Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the positions.
-Must be able to take direction and communicate effectively. Verbally and in writing.
-Experience with Trimble survey controllers.
-AutoCad is highly desirable.
-Must have a valid drivers license, be reliable, on time, and complete safety training.
